So my husband (also known as Crazyghosts (crazyghosts.deviantart.com)) switched majors to Graphic Design, which is also my major. Great, right? Except the wonderful ladies in scheduling seem to think that one class difference between us means we can't have ANY classes synced up. I do not want to take a business mngmt class while he gets to take Illustrator. We've been all over the scheduling/registrar office these past couple days as well as talking to the GD advisor. I am scheduled to also take Photoshop next term, which I really really really have been looking forward to.... but if Vince isn't going to be able to take it with me, I don't want to take it now. They actually took me OUT of Illustrator and put Vince in it and the scheduling lady quoted to me, "It's not that we don't have enough computers in the lab, it just works better as a smaller class." That makes sense...except the class has 12 people, what harm is there in having 13 people? I've been in classes with people who can barely grasp the concept of Microsoft Word...and I know there's going to be one person who will never show up, but still be listed in the class so that there's no way I could transfer in. Every class that I have had so far at this school there has been 1 or 2 people who show up maybe 2 times a week (it's a mon-fri class schedule) and they are never dropped out of it. How is that even possible? All those absences have to put them at a failing grade. And it's not that they have some extreme situation at home (even if they did they should figure it out or drop the class) they almost never have any idea of what's going on in the class or they are so far behind there is no way to catch up. MEH.

Okay. So. I did around 6 or 7 projects for my Intro Design class which I will scan/photograph and stick up here sometime this week. It was a fun class overall, but too many airheaded fresh from highschool kids for my taste. Ah well, you may call me terribly antisocial, but listening to some young giggly tramp talk quite loudly from the other side of the room about all her previous boyfriends is not my idea of a public conversation. Do others a favor and keep your conversations private. It's common courtesy. Damn, I kept ranting.
